Dora (The Explorer) – Adopted 3/4/2012

Happy Gotcha Day, Dora!!

Update from foster mom: I would just like to add that Dora is such a good girl. She is so friendly! We took her to the ball park and it took me a while to get to my son’s practice because people kept stopping us to pet Dora. Everybody loved her and she loved the attention. She also loves her car rides to pick my kids up from school. She is always happy to see them!

Meet Dora.  She is a sweet young yellow lab who is sure to steal your heart.  She is about 4 months old, with a beautiful, soft cream colored coat. Dora is friendly and energetic, and will definitely fit her name…the explorer. Check back for more information as she settles into her foster home.

Dora is a great puppy! She gets along great with her foster brother and sister. She loves my kids. She likes to snuggle with them on the couch. She does very well in her crate, not making a sound at night. We are currently working on housetraining and she is quickly catching on. She also does very well riding in the car. She is a super sweet little girl and a pleasure to have around.

Dora continues to do well. She is now completely
housebroken. In a very short time she learned
to sit and shake. She also comes when called.
    Very playful, yet gentle.

I met Dora at the last adoption and she is literally the SWEETEST DOG! She would do so great in any environment. She is great with other dogs, after seeing her with all of the other lab babies on Saturday.

Carol, sorry but we do not like to move dogs around too much as it is stressful for them. You are always welcome to get approved for adoption and adopt a dog. If the dog does not work you can always return her to us. Elena
