LFS_AdoptedDog2015_cupidHappy Gotcha Day Cupid!

LFS_AvailableDog2015Cupid13Meet CUPID. Cupid is of the 3 Valentine’s Day Puppies. He is only 9 weeks old and the biggest of all, 13lbs. Stay tuned while we find out more about him.

FOSTER UPDATE: Cupid has really come out of his shell this week and is showing his personality.  He gets really excited when we get the doggie treat container and starts jumping up and down.  He does not like being alone and follows his foster sister everywhere.  They are usually cuddling at nap time.  House training is improving and he is learning how fun a backyard can be and that there are rewards when he does his business outside.

FOSTER UPDATE: He is so sweet! I picked him up from yesterday afternoon and things are going well. Cupid is very shy and timid.  When I first introduced him to our dogs he was scared, but warmed up quickly.  After our Lab brought out the dog toys, showed him around the backyard and ate treats with him, Cupid realized he was in good hands (or paws).  He has followed our Lab everywhere and snuggled with her.  He has learned to leave our grumpy, old Basset Hound alone.  He isn’t interested in our cat at all.  He slept well in the crate last night and whimpered when he needed to go outside. He’s enjoyed playing with our son in the backyard and has an amazing vertical jump for such a little
