What is the treatment for HW, how long does it last and how expensive is it? What, if any, will be the long term impact on her health due to having heart worms? Thanks

The treatment requires two shots back to back of a poison that kills the worms. These happens two days apart. After that the rest of treatment is simply keeping her calm for a few months while the body process the dead worms. The long term impact depends on how long the worm were presents. Since she is so young, the worms were not present for a long time and we do not expect her to have any long term effect.

She is beautiful. How long till she is adoptable? We have been thinking about getting holly (lfs baby) a friend.

Hi Kelly! Thank you for your interest. Mandie will just need to be kept quiet for a couple of weeks. Since we would already have your info on file, please email
    right away with your interest.
    Thanks again,

Is Mandie house broken? Good with cats or older kids? And would you consider her a dirt digger?
