Meet CHANDLER. He’s negative for Mange and all ready for his forever home.
Chandler’s story is not unlike many others. He was on his last day at animal control when volunteers in love with him used all their persuasive moves to try to find him rescue. We finally gave him and took him even if he is more shepherd than lab. Chandler has mange which made him loose some of his coat. Because the coast is white and the skin is dark, he does not look his best right now (the coat will slowly fill in….) Don’t let the look scare you away from him, under that look there is one sweet dog! Chandler is currently in a foster home with three other dogs and he is getting along great with them. Foster mom does not have kids but he is so sweet we think he would do well with kids too. Below is Chandler walking with one of his foster sister, and LFS alumni. This is what foster mom has to say about him :”Chandler seems housebroken no accidents in 3 weeks, plays fetch, does well with other dogs (3 foster sisters). He is very gentle and listens very well when being redirected. He enjoys the massage during bath time and lets me brush his teeth.”. Chandler is one amazing dog. Open your heart to him and you will not be disappointed. Chandler is 1 year old.
FOSTER UPDATE 08/10/14: He is always smiling. Chandler is a sweet gentle young boy (around 1 year old). Loves walks, playing with his foster sisters and meeting other pups in the neighborhood. Chandler is a small to medium size around 35 lbs. He loves his toys and taking them out of the toy box one at a time.
