Happy Gotcha Day Dulce!

Meet DULCE. A family in South Georgia contacted us while trying to find a place where their dogs could get a better care that they could afford. So here they are. Dulce is two years old, super skinny and fleas infested. She is Samantha’s mom. Her name fits her (it means sweet in Spanish) as she is super sweet. While she is in need of some care now she will look like a princess in no time. Dulce is HW positive (yes another one) so if you would like to donate to her you can do so below. It is amazing how small donations add up quickly.

FOSTER UPDATE: Sweet Dulce is such a happy girl! Per the vet’s orders, she is having a little fun before her heart-worm treatment. She is hanging out with lots of kids and dogs and she is fantastic with all of them! 🙂
She has picked this dog out of our stash of stuffed animals and likes to carry it around with her. She sleeps quietly in our crate at night and has not had a single accident in the house.
She has had a rough life so far, so it is wonderful to see her tail wagging and a smile on her face!

FOSTER UPDATE: Dulce is doing great. As you can see she looks a little scruffy still but give her a little time and she will look amazing: under the bleached coat there is a lovely very dark chocolate color. She is also gaining weight and recovering from breath feeding. More importantly, Dulce is so incredibly sweet she will melt in your hands. She was very interested in anything happening around here and these amber eyes are simply gorgeous. She will make an amazing addition to anyone with love to give and receive.
