Meet SAMPSON! He is a handsome 4 year old chocolate boy. He was pulled from a shelter after his owners dropped him there. He is a sweet boy and was so grateful to be out of the shelter that he stood with his head between the seats next to his transporter the entire 2 1/2 hrs from Leeds, AL to Brookhaven, GA. Sampson will need a foster home. If you can foster Sampson, please email Christie at labfriendchristie@gmail.com. If you are interested in adopting Sampson, please complete the adoption application.

Hi, can you tell me any more about Sampson? We have a Turkish Kangal (rescue girl) who is large and very friendly. We also have a cat who is dog savvy. Could you let me know how Sampson gets along with other dogs and possibly a kitty? Is he housebroken? Any other details? We would love to meet him if possible. Thank you so much. Hi Leslie! We are still working on getting him into a foster home, so more information to come. Please check back with us in a couple of days and thank you so much for your interest, Christie
Looking for more info on him. My daughters 3 yr old died this weekend – stomach turned – and we are devastated. We have a house full – 3 cats and one boxer puppy .
Hi. Does sampson know any basic commands? What is his weight? Is he house and/ or crate trained? Very interested in learning more about him.
Thank you
I would be interested in fostering and/or adopting Sampson. I lost my 15-year-old chocolate lab to cancer not quite a month ago. I am in Florida, Tampa Bay area. Please let me know if he’s already been placed or what I can do to help. You can reach me at 727-804-0453.
Thanks !!
Hi Kathy!
We do require our fosters to be in the Atlanta area.
We can adopt out of state, but adopters must come to Atlanta to meet the dog so that we can ensure the fit is good for all. 🙂 please fill out our adoption application if you are interested and thank you!

Sampson is being heart worm treated this week…so he will need to be kept quiet for the next few weeks. He is sweet boy who loves the attention, care, and brushing he is receiving at the vet. 🙂
