Happy Gotcha Day Hemi!
MEET HEMI!! Hemi is a very handsome 3 1/2 year old boy. He is a big boy at 99lbs – he is not overweight, just a big, solid boy! He is very sweet and a bit timid. Unfortunately, Hemi is heartworm positive, but he will be treated in the coming days. Stay tuned for more information about our new friend, Hemi. Update: Hemi (all the way to the right in the picture) is the definition of a gentle giant. He has been great with every dog he’s met and even the cat. He seems to be a really easy-going dog and likes chewing on his antler when no one will play with him. He makes me think he is mixed with a great dane since he’s a little bit goofy when he walks. It’s so cute!
how is Hemi doing with his HW treatments? Is his health ok?

Other than the heart worms, his health is great. He will need to stay quiet for around 4-6 weeks, but then he should be as good as new! 😉
