Happy Gotcha Day Stacy/Cinder!Meet STACY! Stacy is the newest addition to LFS, and she’s still a bit unsure of her surroundings, but with some TLC from our volunteers, she should become more comfortable soon. Her lovely transporter says, “Stacy is so sweet, though very timid and scared right now…She’s going to need a little work to come out of her shell, but she’ll be a great pet!” Stay tuned while we find out more about her. If you are interested in adopting Stacy please fill out our adoption form here.
Foster Update: Well, first off, we call her Cinder! My 5th grade class renamed her after we decided Stacy didn’t really suit her.
Cinder is certainly coming out of her shell. She gets along great with my dogs. Many things about the house are new for her- the sound of the shower, dishwasher, vacuum; she’s handling them all very well. The other night she finally decided she was tired of seeing us go upstairs for bed and leaving her downstairs with her foster sister who has arthritis and can’t go up. So, she put on her big girl panties and around 11:30 we heard this timid little click, click, click as she navigated her way up the stairs. She was so proud of herself when she found us!
She also desperately wants to be part of my active crew. Because of the heartworm treatment, she has to stay back with her foster sister while my active two go on longer walks. But you can tell that once the treatment period is over, she will love to join her forever family on lengthy outings. She also has a snuggly side, though, making her a perfect blend of cuddly and bouncy.
Cinder will make a great lab for just about any family!
Can you tell me how old Stacy is? Does she walk well on a leash? Good with children?
Thanks
I will find out. 🙂
Thanks,
Christie
Penny, she is wonderful with children. She does pull a little on the leash, but is improving. Thank you for your interest, Christie
Christie, will she be at the adoption event on Sat? We would like to meet her.
Penny
Yes she will! 🙂
We look forward to seeing you!
Christie
I’m ready for Cinder to be a member of our family.
