MEET HOMER!! This is one of the cutest boys ever!! Homer is around 8 months old and ready to find his forever home. He clearly has not had the greatest start to life; it appears as though Homer was abandoned by somebody and then brought to animal control as a stray. No one ever came to claim him and his time was up at the shelter, so now he’s with LFS. Homer is a super sweet guy, but it can sometimes take him a moment to warm up to new people he meets, likely because he was never really socialized as a puppy. He is also a little head shy and it seems someone may have been mean to him in the past…However, we don’t like to dwell on the negative. We’re so happy to have Homer at LFS and glad to have the chance to find him a great home. He is a typical pup who still loves to play. Homer appears to know the “sit” command, and once he settles in a little bit more we can see what else he knows. He is a very smart cookie who is very food motivated; training will be a blast for him! He is very photogenic and will be quite the handsome boy when he fills out a bit more. Stay tuned as we learn more about Homer’s personality in the coming days.

Is Homer still available? And is he house trained?
Also, I filled out the adoption application and was approved a few years ago, unfortunately the dog I was interested in had horrible separation anxiety and I could not leave him alone. Anyway, will I still need to fill out an application if I want to go forward with adopting?
Thanks,
Cori McClarran
If Homer is still available, will he be at your adoption event on Saturday? Thanks!
