Happy Gotcha Day Diesel!

MEET DIESEL! Diesel was living outside a gas station for over a month, with strangers feeding him. A nice family rescued him, treated his heartworms (a light case) & had him fully vetted with the intention of keeping him. Unfortunately their smaller dog wasn’t a fan of sharing his home & they had to reluctantly look for another spot for Diesel, even though they loved him. He is around 8 years old & is as calm & laid back as he can be. He’s fully housetrained & gets along fine with the 3 dogs he’s currently living with. Diesel loves attention & will nudge you to pet him, but he settles down quickly. He could sleep anywhere in the house but he loves his crate even with the door open. Diesel is sweet, quiet & low maintenance. He’d be fine as an only dog or with other dog-friendly dogs. He’s great with kids but he might chase a cat. He’s a big boy, around 70 pounds, with a beautiful coat & a tail that never stops wagging. He loves short walks & being outside on squirrel patrol but mostly he wants to be with his human friends.
