Happy Gotcha Day Freddie!
MEET FREEDIE! Isn’t he just the most handsome 7 year old, 66 pound boy around? And what an awesome personality. He thinks he is still a youngster, loves squeaky toys and balls. Just all lab. I bet he would love to go for a swim too. Freddie knows to sit and stay and is pretty gentle on a leash. He came to the shelter as a stray on 05/31 and hopes to find a new home very soon.

Foster update 07/03: Freddie is a gentle sweetheart. He’s still a little thin but he has big wonderful paws. Once he fills out some, he’s going to be super handsome. Freddie is easygoing and gets along great with other dogs. He greeted children from the neighborhood with a friendly, wagging tail. He needed to keep his activity low for a couple of days after being neutered, so we haven’t tried out his leash skills yet. He has been having a great time tossing around a rope toy and doing a little wrestling with his 4 legged foster sisters though.He has good house manners – no jumping and no accidents so far. We are working on sitting for his food, feeling comfortable in a crate at night, and resisting the temptation to counter surf. Freddie is happy to “work for food”!
