Happy Gotcha Day Lucky!
MEET MR LUCKY! Lucky is about 8 months old and was found as a stray in the middle of a busy road. He was very lucky that he didn’t get hit. Volunteer got him out of the middle of the road to safety. No one reclaimed him. So he is getting vetted and will be up for adoption soon…

Foster update 11/25/2021: Lucky had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! We took him to the lake for a hike and he had a fun time – he waded in the water and would probably love to swim on a warmer day. He was great in the car too! His training is coming along nicely – he comes when called and has learned to sit. Still working on getting him totally housebroken but he’s having fewer accidents in the house. He’s also become comfortable in his crate when foster mom goes out. Lucky is the sweetest dog and would be happy with any forever family that is lucky enough to adopt him!
Foster update 11/12/2021: Lucky has settled in at his foster home as if he’s always been here! He’s very confident and has a wonderful disposition. He’s very curious about everything around him and soaks it all in on our walks. He loves meeting new people and other furry friends and has gotten along well with everyone. We don’t know how he is with children or cats yet but expect he’d be great with them too. He’s an energetic puppy who loves to play but is just as happy snuggling and getting love. He would love a family that has time for both! He doesn’t seem to have had much training so we’re working with him. He’s very smart and treat motivated so that is going well so far. He’s just a wonderful little guy!
