Happy Gotcha Day Cadbury
Meet Cadbury
He is 14 to 15 weeks old. Mom is Coco and dad is Yogi. I’m one of 9 in the litter.
Foster update10/09 : Here is an update on Cadbury. He is a beautiful pup with a goofy personality – very sweet. Cadbury is 16 weeks and 29 pounds. He had a good check up at the vet on Thursday. He is growing and his fur is filling in nicely from the few spots of demodex that he had. He is teething right now so chewing toys will be required. Cadbury is cautious in new situations and needs time to warm up to new places, new doorways and new people. He hasn’t had much practice walking on a leash. He has not been around cats. Cadbury is doing well with his house training, especially if you stay on a schedule. He sleeps in a crate in our room at night and is crated when we leave the house or when we can’t watch him to keep him safe. The promise of a treat every time he goes in the crate on his own has made it a happy place. He is an enthusiastic eater (recommend a slow feeder bowl and a separate space) and a messy drinker. Cadbury is very active. He LOVES to run around in the backyard and chase his brother Nestle. He is very fast and agile. He is also vocal. You will know when he needs to go outside in the morning and he will cheer you on while you make his dinner. He rides well in the vehicle. Once comfortable, Cadbury is affectionate and loving. He gives kisses, mostly to his foster fur-siblings. He likes to be in the middle of everything. He loves toys and all our dogs, even if they aren’t always excited to see him.
