Meet Moose . He is a VERY sweet, beautiful boy that was in desperate need of our help. This boy is so thin and covered in fleas .He is at our vets office now getting caught up on some over due medical attention. Very soon this boy will be as good as new and on to much a much bigger and better life! We are starting to accept applications on this sweet boy. Make a difference and help us give this deserving boy a wonderful, loving forever home!  Moose is great with other dogs  Moose needs a foster home

Foster Update: Moose is settling into his foster home and is the best, most grateful boy .

Moose quickly adjusted to our home. He found a dog bed in an open crate and made it his spot. He is fine being crated when we leave but likely would have been fine loose in the house. He is very tall and can reach the counters so we just have to remember to put all of the food away. He never jumped up but he’s just so tall! He’s still a little thin but has a healthy lab appetite!

He is a great watch dog and alerted us of people entering the house, but wasn’t aggressive towards them. Most of the time he is happy to lay close to where we were and enjoys fetching in the backyard. He will grab two tennis balls in his mouth and still try to pick up a third. He still hasn’t attempted the stairs.

Loves playing with balls
Great with kids
Good with other dogs

Foster update: Moose quickly adjusted to our house the few days that he was there. He found a dog bed in an open crate and made it his spot. He was fine being crated when we left but likely would have been fine loose in the house. He was loose in the house in the evenings when we were all upstairs sleeping.  He is very tall and can reach the counters so we just had to remember to put all of the food away. He never jumped up but he’s just so tall!  He’s still a little thin but has a healthy lab appetite!

He is a great watch dog and alerted us of people entering the house, but wasn’t aggressive towards them.  Most of the time he was happy to lay close to where we were and enjoyed fetching in the backyard. He would grab two tennis balls in his mouth and still try to pick up a third.  We had to stop him after a while since we knew it would impact his legs later. He never tried to go up the stairs in our house.

Foster update: Moose may be 10 years old and have arthritis but you sure can’t tell when he’s outside fetching tennis balls . He is great with my little kids and takes treats very nicely.
