Happy Gotcha Day Ruby!
Meet Ruby! Ruby has just joined the LFS family! She is a 2.5 year old lab / doodle mix. Ruby is also momma to baby Lexi Ruby was surrender to LFS tonight after spending the majority of her life as an outside dog with little training. Ruby is very sweet, active girl that would benefit from having a family that is comfortable training a large breed. Stay tuned for more updates on Ruby!

Update: Ms Ruby the Doodle has been healing so well from her spay that gets to participate in doggie daycare now! She LOVES attention from people and would prefer to be the only dog so she can get all the love but it’s not required. She just pushes others out of the way to get as much attention as possible. She’s super silly and will need someone to understand that she’s lived outside her entire life so she doesn’t fully understand basic commands and sometimes has accidents. She does willingly go into her kennel now. It just took a day of training. She catches on super quick and listens very well!
Update: Adoptable Ruby the Doodle is Jessica’s Valentine this year! Jessica has deemed Ruby as her favorite LFS dog! She said that she has been such a great dog and is so affectionate!
Update: We just got a call from our vet that Ruby’s spay went great and that she is slowly waking up. Sweet girl! Someone is going to hit the jackpot with her
Update: Everyone at the vet’s office has fallen in love with sweet Ruby! She looks longingly in your eyes and just craves attention. She has a good bath this morning and spent her afternoon playing out in the yard. She is scheduled to get spayed tomorrow and then will be available for adoption!
