Meet Layne
Layne is a 4-year-old purebred Chocolate Labrador Retriever looking for a family to call his own. He has grown up with children and has always been incredibly gentle, patient, and loving with them. He’s also been around just about every farm animal you can think of.
If there’s one thing Layne loves more than treats or a pup cup, it’s the water! Whether it’s a pond, lake, or creek, he’s happiest when he’s swimming, splashing, and exploring.
Unfortunately, Layne‘s previous family moved to a home without the space and land he had always been used to. Over the past year, he’s spent much more time in a kennel than enjoying the freedom to run and play, and they made the difficult decision to find him a home better suited to his needs.
Layne would thrive with an active family and a securely fenced yard or property where he has room to stretch his legs, play, and enjoy life.
He is an incredibly loyal, trustworthy dog and has never shown any aggression toward children. His gentle nature and loving personality make him a wonderful companion.
