This is Prince. He is a 2 year old male who has the cutest underbite. He knows sit, he is goofy, and he gets along well with other dogs! Prince’s story if very sad. About one year ago he was rescued from a horrible situation: he was living in a box in one foot of his own feces. A good Samaritan heard him crying and, thanks to the power of Facebook, he was rescued and his new life started. Forward one year and Prince has gained weight, he is healthy, and he is ready for adoption. The good Samaritan who rescued him asked us to help find him a home as she was not able to get him enough exposure in her rural area. So here he is with us. A super sweet dog, who deserves a new start in life. We think the Prince is due for some good love and affection!
UPDATE FROM FOSTER PARENTS: Prince is just a goofie dog. He is a great dog and we can’t believe he is only 2 years old.

How does Prince do with cats and children? Is he high-strung?
oh no he is not. He is just a goofie big boy. He likes toys so I think he would do great with kids that like to toss the ball. I have not seen him with cats but I actually think he may be ok. We can try to find out.
Ive seen some of the videos of Prince posted on FB- he seems like SUCH a doll!!!
Is prince still available – we are looking for an ADULT Black lab – one that is goofy but not too high energy.

How much does Prince weigh? Is he house broken? I have recently relocated and am temporarily in an apartment, but will be in a house within 1 year. I do have a fenced dog park and would be able to walk daily. Is he too big and energetic for this? Thanks!!!
