Happy Gotcha Day Abby!
We all know we have a VERY soft spot for seniors and if we had enough foster homes we would take them all! Luckily for Abby, when we found out that Abby has been in boarding for over a month because her mom could not take care of her, we had one foster home ready for a senior. So here she is. Abby is 11 years old and super super sweet. She is probably 10 pounds overweight (but we are good a making our dogs lose weight) and a little confused right now. She has some arthritis but pain medications should kick in soon. Abby is doing great in a home with other dogs. She is trying to figure out what is going on but we know she will feel safe soon. In the meantime she is truly enjoying her daily walks and lots of attention. Seniors have a special way to thank you for giving them a good quality of life in their golden years. I know that many people shy away from adopting a senior, but I can promise that opening your home to this sweet senior will be an incredibly rewarding experience.
Where are you located, we are in southern Michigan, near the border of Indiana and have a 8 year old black female lab, and a 15 year old golden lab, we treat our animals better than some people treat their children. We live on 5 acres in the country, have multiple gardens, and room to run and play. We were wondering where you are located.
My family & I are extremely interested.
Renee,
The first step if you are interested would be to fill out an adoption application, by clicking “adopt” on the home page or on the top right of the Available Labs page.
Patty,
We are located in Georgia.
