Meet little miss Alpha! She is eight weeks old and aspires to be a true member of a forever family.
FOSTER UPDATE 08/11/2014:
Little Alpha would win the award for Miss Congeniality. She has so much personality. Even though she is a fraction the size of her foster sisters, she is not intimidated and LOVES to get them to play with her. And she is both fearless and curious – she has to see what’s going on all around her. When it’s meal time – dog or human – she’ll sit and watch you and then jump right in to gobble up her fair share.
Alpha loves to play with her toys- she even discovered the squeeky part of her new best friends – Mr & Mrs Care Bear – the toys she personally picked out at the pet store. Playing tug of war is one of her favs!!
She isn’t going to be a big lab but what she lacks in size she more than makes up for in personality. She is one happy girl – just keep an eye on her tail, it NEVER seems to stop wagging especially when delivering her seemingly unlimited supply of puppy kisses to everyone she meets.
Can you tell me how big you think Alpha will be fullgrown and what you believe this litter to be mixed with? TX!
Patty, it is hard to tell right now how big Alpha will be because she was so sick she was tiny. She is finally eating and growing and we should have a better idea of how big she will be soon. My guess now is about 45 pounds but I may revise my guess in about two weeks 🙂 Elena
