Foster update 11/17/21: Babs has really started coming out of her shell. She loves playing with her foster brother all day, she loves being with us, and she has an appreciation for a nice bed at the end of the day. If you’re looking for a gal who will put herself to bed she is the lady for you! Babs is respectful of our cats, affectionate, is getting much better at crate training, and has had very very few accidents. She will make a wonderful companion. She is gentle and I think she would do well in a home with children due to her nature.
Foster update 11/12/21: Babs is transitioning well into our home. We are starting training her with basic commands and are starting her with crate training. She has only had one accident so she is well on her way to being housebroken! She is good with dogs of all sizes and ignores cats. She is very sweet and we are working on earning her trust because she is a little skittish. She is very loving on her terms and we are enjoying getting to know her and continuing to earn her trust. She follows us around the house and likes to be close to us but is just a little skeptical. We are being sure to give her extra love and treats so she knows people are good and to build up her confidence. I think she would do best in a home with another dog who can help show her the ropes. We will be sure to keep everyone updated on her progress, we hope to get more pictures soon.
