Happy Gotcha Day Barkley!
MEET BARKLEY!! This handsome young boy is about 10 months old and was just rescued from the shelter after he was found as a stray and not reclaimed. We can’t believe anyone wouldn’t be looking for this awesome boy, but now he has a second chance to find his forever! Barkley is your typical bouncy, energetic puppy who would love a playmate (canine or human) and an active family that can make sure he gets the exercise a young lab needs. He could use a refresher course in obedience and leash training, but he takes correction well and seems to know “sit” with some reminding, so I think training should be a breeze. Barkley loves belly rubs and almost immediately rolled over after meeting me for one. He sports the cutest smile whenever you’re giving him scratches in just the right spot! Barkley just came in, so he will be evaluated by our vet and neutered in the coming days. Stay tuned as we learn more about him!

Update from Trainer on Mr Barkley. He is good. He is a super sweet guy. Very goofy. We are really working on his focus. He has been great playing with Other dogs. He is ready for a forever home on Saturday.
