Meet BEAR. This handsome 2 year old boy was taken to the UGA vet school by a Good Samaritan when he was found attacked near a hunting camp. Unfortunately, UGA couldn’t help him so they asked us to help.
Bear is a sweet boy who seems to be just that, a teddy bear. Once he’s fixed up and good as new, he’ll be the gorgeous boy he’s meant to be. He let us care for him without any protest, even though it was clear he was hurting. On his safety ride to our vet he even seemed to perk up a little bit when I changed the radio to some country music. He’s just a good boy who deserves a second chance, heΒ has been through so much but now is getting some TLC and is on his road to recovery. If you would like to donate:

What a beautiful lab.
When do you think bear will be adoptable?
What is Bear’s exact injury? Will he have permanent disability or will he make a full recovery? Very interested in him. He seems just like our Lab Buster, who needs a companion.
Bear is still at the vet healing up. He was attacked by something but we do not know what.
It is likely he will make a full recovery. π
How is Bear doing? He is absolutely gorgeous and seems so sweet just like our 12 year old lab, Buddy!
Hi!
Bear is healing well and should be ready soon!!
He has a limo right now but should make a full recovery. π
That was supposed to say limp π
We are looking for a new member to our family. Bear is a beautiful lab and we are interested in adoption.
Hi Jenny!
Please fill out our adoption application and thank you so much for your interest.

Bear is so beautiful, I can tell he is very special. Something in his eyes pulls on my heart. I am very interested in Bear. I have submitted an application and application fee. Please contact me and let me know if it is possible that I can come meet him and see him.
Hi Alesha!
I hate to disappoint, but Bear’s fosters fell in love and are adopting him. π
Please keep your eye out though…we always have great dogs coming in. π
Bear looks so lovable but lonely… Can he take visitors at the UGA vet school?
