Happy Gotcha Day Buff!
Meet BUFF!!! Buff is a 5 year old, handsome black Lab. His previous owner was an elderly gentleman who passed away, and unfortunately his family members did not want to keep him. LFS couldn’t stand seeing this sweet boy terrified at the shelter, so we decided to step in and give him a second chance. Buff is a big boy at around 80 pounds, and he will get a little bigger as he needs to put on a little bit more weight. Buff is a super sweet boy, but the shelter environment scared him so he didn’t eat very well while he was there.
Buff was temperament tested and did fantastic! He absolutely came out of his shell around children and seemed to have a special connection with them. Buff is very mild mannered and would probably make a great therapy or service dog. He did wonderfully with other dogs, especially younger ones.
Buff also gets along well with cats and even ignored the chickens at his foster home! He loves to have his head scratched as well.

Buff still has a long road ahead of him with his heartworm treatment and will most likely have an adoption appointment already at the end of it.
