Happy Gotcha Day Cecilia!Meet Cecilia. This sweetie pie is 6 months old and I picked up from animal control that was terrified. She is very sweet and I could tell she had a big heart under all that fear. After a couple of weeks she is already a lot better. She like to snuggle and loved her crate. She is initially a little afraid of rambunctious dogs but she warms up. She is currently in a foster home getting lots of love and learning to trust other dogs. She is a total cuddler. UPDATE FROM FOSTER MOM: What a sweetheart Cecilia is. She is so calm and just loves to snuggle. What a little ‘lap lab’ she is. She is adjusting amazingly well. No accidents and actually likes to go into the crate all by herself and chill – something she is pretty good at by the way!! Slowly but surely she is beginning to be more comfortable and overcoming her shyness. I’ll keep you posted over the next few days. As for getting along well with others – I think  she is getting more and more used to other dogs. As you mentioned, she curls her lip & growls when dogs get too close to her face so her foster sisters are taking things on a wait & see basis. The good thing is that Cecilia is going up to them now and sniffing etc. A couple more days and she should be more at ease with them.
