Happy Gotcha Day Sweet Chesney!
MEET CHESNEY! Chesney came to Labrador Friends today after being surrendered to animal control. Chesney’s mom and dad recently died in a car accident. They had had him since he was a puppy. A friend tried to take care of him, but was not able to continue. He is a very sweet, laid back 13-14 year old black lab. He loved his “Freedom Ride” to our veterinarian’s office. He looked out the window, tail wagging and then settled down for a nice long nap. Once he is settled into his foster home we will have more information about him. Do you have a place in your home to allow this friendly sweet boy to enjoy his senior years?
Please consider helping and donate towards Chesney treatment so he can be healthy before going into his forever home. Any amount is appreciated. Thank you!

Foster update 10/05: Chesney is super sweet and has settled in nicely into his foster home. Even though he’s a senior, he loves to go on his walks and run around the backyard. He’s super laid back and gets along with his foster brother and the neighbor’s dog. He is deaf but that doesn’t seem to bother him. He seems to pick up on signals from his foster brother and is waiting at the door when someone comes home from work.
