Happy Gotcha Day, Cody!!
Update from Foster Mom: Cody is a tender-hearted big boy that brings a smile to your face the moment you meet him. Even people hesitant around big dogs quickly warm up to this gentle giant. I believe the reason he’s so big as he is to hold his humungous heart. Thing is — he doesn’t realize his size. He’s constantly squeezing into spots that physics shouldn’t allow him to be in just so that he can snuggle in with people or other dogs (a couple of the attached pictures tries to illustrate this, but probably doesn’t do it justice). He loves, loves, LOVES kids and is obviously more relaxed when other dogs are around. Cody’s favorite toy is a ball, but he’ll take a belly rub over a ball anytime! Open your heart and home to Cody and you’ll get back at least 10-fold what you invest — not a shabby return given today’s economy!
Meet Cody the easiest and sweetest dog. He is an easy dog that would be the ideal companion for someone who is looking for a dog but not all the work that comes with it. He is good with kids and other dogs. He would be happy coming along to run errands with you and then settle on the porch to read the newspaper keeping a vigil eye on the backyard. His coat is soft and fluffy. He is around 5 years old. His tail is short but his personality is all lab. Cody is just a big, goofy boy looking for a home to call his own.
This is the update from the trainer where they are stay right now:
They both seem to know some basic commands but I think a little refresher would be good for them. They both respond pretty well to voice commands (except when they are barking at the big scary thing that is moving around the woods in the dark – this is the horse ha ha). They both love the ball. Both are really social and playful. Divit smiles and he is an all around goof. He likes a good belly rub. Cody is pretty much a teddy bear. So I think we should call him Oso. (Spanish for bear)
Cody and Divot needs a foster home!
Cody looks like a wonderful dog. Is he still available?
Thank you so much!
Celeste,
He is absolutely still available and a wonderful Lab. He has a great big heart and is about as cuddly as they come. 🙂 If you are interested, please fill out an application.
Would like to come and visit Cody if he is still available. I have already filled out an adoption/application form.
