Happy Gotcha Day Daffodil!
MEET DAFFODIL! She is about 2 years old and is as sweet as ever. She has a calm demeanor and smiles when she is happy. She didn’t love getting a bat at first but once she knew how great she smelled she had to roll in the grass . She appears to be potty trained and hasn’t had any accidents in her kennel yet. She is heartworm positive and has started her treatment. She will need to lay low for about 4 months until her treatment is done. She will need a quiet home to recover in as she starts her heartworm treatment. * Daffodil is in the middle of her HW treatment so she needs to be adopted by local (Atlanta) families to be able to finish treatment with the same vet.

Foster update 04/07:Video of Daffodil to help show her personality. She’s a very happy girl, her tail is always wagging. She can be playful but also is pretty calm for a 2 year old! She needs work on her leash manners but with consistency, she’ll get better!
Foster update 04/01: Hi I’m Daffodil! I’m a 2 year old yellow lab with the sweetest personality! I have been with my foster pawrents for almost a week now and they’ve nicknamed me “Smiley”, for obvious reasons. Some of my favorite things are tennis balls, stuffed toys, and food! I like following my foster pawrents around the house, and I take turns laying by both of their sides as they work during the day. I am currently being treated for heartworms (they’re not too bad!) so I stay pretty quiet, which I naturally do anyways. But I can get excited when meeting new doggy friends, and I will jump and bark to say hi! I may come off a little intense at first but really I just want to lick their faces and be best friends! Because of the treatment I haven’t been able to run and play outside too much, but I will be ready to be your fetch partner in no time because tennis balls are the best. My foster pawrents think I may have never lived inside before or full time, because sometimes normal household things are scary to me. I have already become a lot more confident inside though so they said I will be completely fine in no time. I sleep in their bedroom at night on a dog bed because I’m potty trained, but I stay in a crate when they leave the house to help me feel comfortable. I can’t wait to find my furever home that will love me, rub my belly, and let me roll around in the grass outside!!
