Happy Gotcha Day Dixie Rose!

 

“HI, I’M DIXIE ROSE!! I’m about 2-3 years old and ready to find my foster or forever home. I was found as a stray and taken to the shelter, and no one came to claim me, so these nice people rescued me to give me a second chance. I came down with kennel cough shortly after getting rescued from the shelter, but now I am all clear and ready to go. My caretakers say I’m super sweet but I’m really shy right now. Loud noises and fast movements scare me, so I need someone who will be patient and let me build trust. Once I am comfortable with you, I like to cuddle and have my ears scratched. I rode really well in the car on the way to the vet’s office from the shelter, and I think I could be a really good co-pilot for someone in time. I do well with other dogs but the really excited ones scare me a little bit. I think I could learn to play someday. I’d love to have my own family that can show me what life is all about!”
