Happy Gotcha Day Dublin!
MEET DUBLIN!! Dublin is a super sweet, more mature boy. Our vet believes he is between 5-8 years old. Dublin is a happy boy despite all he’s been through. This poor guy was hit by a car at some point and ended up at a rural shelter. They were worried that he wouldn’t make it out, so they contacted us to give him a second chance. While he still limps a little bit, nothing appears to be broken, so we think he is just sore (understandably so!). He does have a bit of arthritis in his back end, but he is doing well with pain medicine and hasn’t seemed to slow down at all. Dublin has a great personality and just wants to be loved. He loves attention and gets excited when you go to see him. Quite the playful boy actually! He’s a quiet dog who seems to get along well with other dogs. He also appears to be crate trained.
Stay tuned as we get Dublin into a foster home and learn more about him! If you’d be interested in adopting an older gentleman who is past the puppy stage, consider making Dublin a member of your family! Visit labradorfriends.com/how-to-adopt to fill out an application, or email us at labfriendinfo@gmail.com if you’re already approved. Thanks!

FOSTER UPDATE 7/16/18: Dublin loves to curl up under my desk when I am sitting at the computer. He is not super playful, but he and Jeffrey sometimes wrestle around. He is housebroken, knows sit and shake. I don’t crate him at all and he hasn’t chewed anything. He sleeps on a blanket in my room. He really loves getting pets and will cuddle up to people at the adoption events. He doesn’t seem to be in pain so I’ve stopped all pain medication, but he takes glucosamine for his joints.
