Happy Gotcha Day Goose!

MEET GOOSE!! This handsome lab/hound mix is about 1-2 years old. Goose was found on the street by some very nice folks who did their best to care for him until help could be found. Now Goose is with LFS and ready to find his forever home. Goose is super sweet, working on crate training and good with other dogs. He is still a puppy at heart. Goose loves to explore the yard and hang out with you when he’s done. He’s not the biggest fan of the camera, so hopefully we can get some better pictures of him soon. Keep checking back for updates on this cool guy!

FOSTER UPDATE 03/02:  Goose is doing great in his foster home! He is completely house trained and crate trained (with the help of a yummy treat). He LOVES exploring in the backyard and lounging in the sun on the deck with his 4 legged foster siblings. Everyone he meets is a friend, he’s GREAT with kids, and he loves to play with other dogs! He’s a big, happy, enthusiastic boy and sometimes forgets how big, strong and goofy he is (with other dogs, not people), but with gentle reminders from his doggie friends and/or their people he learns what’s okay and what’s not very quickly and easily. He listens really well and is very eager to please. Goose is blind in his right eye (likely a congenital condition), but it doesn’t hold him back or slow him down! He’s a huge love-bug – not to mention an incredibly handsome fella – who truly deserves a family to call his own. If you would like more info about Goose, please email labfriendinfo@gmail.com.
