Happy Gotcha Day!
Meet Joe, he is a happy 2 years old lab. He is very sweet and get along with people and other dogs. He is a medium energy dog and would be a great addition for an active family. He is a gorgeous red fox lab who will turn heads. He is in a foster home with two female labs and he is doing great. As you can see from the pictures, he convince that he is a lap dog. Joe would do great with other dogs, but he is very confident so he may not do well with a very dominant male. Joe is completely housebroken and just overall a great easy dog.
UPDATE FROM FOSTER PARENTS: Joe has been one of our favorite foster dogs and if we had a vacancy, he’d definitely be in the running to fill it! And we’re not the only ones to have fallen in love with him. We had family come into town a couple weekends ago and we had to make sure they didn’t try to stow him away in their luggage when they left. Loving, handsome & fun — that sums up Joe. Just check out the pictures and videos….
Look at this Fabulous Mr. Fox! Crazy cute.
Would love to learn more about Joe!
Do you know if Joe gets along with cats? I have an 18 year old cat who has tamed many a lab, but she is getting old. She thinks that she is a dog and the mother of all the four labs who live around us.
I have a 12 year old docile and sadly-getting-feeble yellow lab mix who will be my next dog’s trainer, but I also live in an area in the country where we have three other free-roaming labs/lab mixes. One is a dominant male, and from what I read about Joe, this may be more of a problem than the cat.

Hello. I am interested in more information on Joe. Could someone please contact me? Is he still available?
Thanks.
Yes he is still available. Start with going to http://www.labradorfriends.com and click on the Adopt button/picture to see our adoption policies. There you will find the adoption application. Complete it, submit it, and pay the $15 processing fee. We will approve you for adoption in a couple of days and then contact you to discuss our dogs and set up an appointment to meet them. Feel free to email me if you have any questions or if you have any problem with the application,
We have a small athletic light 12 year old female and a 3 year old male who is a little lighter than Joe. Buster is not alpha but he will stand up for himself. We are in Toronto, Canada. My labs love the snow. My questions? How old Joe do in the cold? We have had 4 yellows in total.
Hi, Joe would be great in the cold. This said we do not ship dogs. We do adopt out of state but only if you are willing to drive to Atlanta to pick him up. For you that would be a long drive. If you think that would be ok please email Erin at labfriendinfo@gmail.com if you have more questions.
What a handsome guy he is. My husband and I are very interested in Joe. We just completed the application for adoption form. We hope to hear from you soon.
