Meet Karma!!! This five year old is super handsome (more pretty that she shows in these pictures). She is medium to low energy and fully housebroken. She was HW positive but she was treated and she is now doing very well and on her way to recover. She is currently in a foster home with other dogs and she isΒ doing great. She is just an easy girl who wants someone to be her human.

Karma will finish up Heartworm treatment next month. She will just need to be kept quiet until the treatment has run its course. She is a very sweet dog and gets along wonderfully with other dogs.

Ok, I checked and since it has been a year, we do need you to fill out the application again…but there is no fee since you have already paid it. π Karma is still available. She will need to finish up heartworm treatment in about 30 days, but she can be adopted before then. She could just come back to us for the treatment. Please indicate your interest in her on your app. π

How is Karma with young children? What is her energy level? Is she housebroken?
Amanda, how small are your kids? Karma is really a good girl but she is a little mouthy. This is the only reason why we would say not to very small kids. Yes she is housebroken. Her energy is medium to low I would say. She does well with her foster four legged siblings and she does very well with the foster mom neighbor’s kids. She is just very labbie and loves to grab everything with her mouth. Not with any intention to hurt you but small kids may get scared. Elena

Thanks for the reply! She’s a real beauty. She looks just like my lab I had a few years ago. My child is 2 and he puts his hands all over a dog’s face so we are looking for a very tolerant dog, preferably one who has already grown out of the puppy stage. Karma seems to be great, but I would be concerned about my little one crossing the dog’s tolerance with his well-intended (but probably annoying some dogs) affection.
