MEET KRINGLE!! This handsome boy came to LFS a couple days ago, just in time for the holidays! Kringle is an adorable, 11 month old boy with such a great personality! He is super friendly and very outgoing. There’s not a person he’s met yet who he hasn’t tried to get cuddles from! We can’t believe he was overlooked at the shelter!
Kringle is a wiggly boy who still has a good bit of puppy energy. He would benefit from some obedience training, as it doesn’t seem anyone has worked with him on commands yet. He’s pretty food motivated, so I’m sure he’d do great with training. He walks pretty well on the leash but does pull a little bit when he gets excited, so we will work on that. He’s just a big, silly puppy right now. Kringle is a medium sized dog, as he only weighs 47 pounds. We think he will stay around the same size as he gets older, but he may gain a couple more pounds as he matures. He was found as a stray on the street, and we think Kringle spent a good while outside before he was taken to the shelter. Because of this, his coat is pretty bleached out. It will probably get a little darker and less bleached as he starts eating a good diet and spending more time inside.
Kringle seems to get along with other dogs, and he would probably love a playmate. We’re not sure how he is around cats. Kringle is a great dog with a fantastic personality who is just looking for a second chance at a forever home. He would make a great addition to any family!
Check back for updates as we get Kringle into a foster home and learn more about him!

Foster update 01/13/2017: Kringle has stolen our hearts in just the few short days that he has been with us. He definitely has a lot of puppy energy and can be a bit of a goof ball but that’s all just part of his charm. If there
were an award for fastest eater, this guy would win it. The boy loves food! He also loves anyone and everyone he meets – people or dogs. He was introduced to a cat today, whom he barked at but didn’t try to chase off so that’s a decent start. We’ll try again another day. There have been zero accidents in the house (yay Kringle!) but we are
working on learning a few manners. He’s super sweet and just wants to please so it shouldn’t be too difficult. Oh and something else he’d win an award for – best couch cuddler!
