MEET LANEY! She is 3 months old with big paws so we expect her to get fairly big. Strong but not tall. She has a big square head and curly hair on her ears and round piggy nose. She has a tiny bit of white in her chest and her toes. She has the most intense eyes which are super expressive: They go from super sweet loving to intense paying attention as you watch her… At first she did not know what toys were but she has learned fast and she is quite the playful puppy now. She is medium to high energy and she craves attention. She loves to play with her foster sisters and they play for hours at the time. She follows me everywhere! She is absolutely great in the crate, doing all night without crying (my own dogs wakes me up before her). In two days she has learned where we go pee and she has made only two mistakes in two days! She is hilarious: she makes me laugh all the time. I think it is because she is so active and so expressive. This awesome puppy would be a great addition for an active family. She is really jumpy (we are working on that) so she may not be the ideal puppy for toddlers.

I am very much interested in Laney! Can you email me anymore about her?
I have 1 older lab now and 3 mini dachshunds. I have always hAd labs growing up so I am very familiar with this breed!
Thanks, Mandy Kato

Hi! I was wondering if Laney was still adoptable. I know there was a previous inquiry on her, so I wanted to check. Also, I see it says that she is jumpy, and would not be ideal for toddlers… I have a one year old, but am very interested. Is that something that can be worked on? My son is around dogs at his Aunt’s house, and he never seems too interested in playing/touching/etc the dogs. Any information you could provide would be helpful! Thank you!
Hi Casey!
Let me check for you. In the meantime, please fill out our adoption application, which you can find under our adoption picture. 🙂
Thanks so much for your interest,
Christie
Casey, Laney is still available. If you are willing to do some training, a puppy can certainly learn to not jump, learn basic manners, etc. 🙂 The first step is to send in your application. If it is not the right fit, we keep your app on file until the right fit is found. 🙂
Thanks so much,
Christie
