Happy Gotcha Day Lily!

Meet Lily. She is a gorgeous and sweet 1 year old lab. A family with four kids asked us to take her in as the kids were driving her crazy. So here she is. She is a little skittish of things as she was probably not socialized much. But she has a big heart and she is eager to please and learn so we expect her to be comfortable soon.

UPDATE FROM FOSTER MOM: Lily is settling in to her foster home and is as relaxed as a 1 year old lab can get! She follows me around no matter what I’m doing and won’t be still unless I sit. She is very curious and wants to be involved with whatever I am doing. While she is a bit cautious and skittish she still has a playfulness about her. She must feel at home enough in the short time she has been with me since she has been entertaining herself with a tennis ball and exploring her new environment somewhat on her own. She finally decided she could take a nap at my feet once I settled down to do some work on my computer. I think she is doing great for just being with me for a few hours. No word on how she will interact with my cat since the cat is still sulking under the bed.
