Loki worked his way into his foster mom heart… and he is not leaving from there. Good job Mr Loki.MEET LOKI! This sweet 6 month old boy just came in. He is good with kids and small dogs. He is very gentle and likes to hand out hugs to anyone close enough to love on.
FOSTER UPDATE 2: Loki is officially in foster care and he’s being a really great boy, he rode well in the car and gave me some cheek kisses. He’s now exploring the house and the yard, seems a little nervous in this new environment but mostly just a happy boy!
UPDATE 1: Loki is doing great. Loki is a high energy boy who loves to play, play, and play some more with other dogs. Loki would do well in a home with another high energy dog (better if female) who loves to play so that they can tired each other out. Loki is now in training for recall and general obedience. Loki’s idea family is active, structured, and has space to run and play. While Loki is good with kids, due to his high energy we do not recommend him for a home with small kids. Older kids who like to play would work great for him.
FOSTER UPDATE: 10/03/14 Loki officially understands the couch! He loves to cuddle so much. He’s so goofy and he likes top butt his head in the couch crack and under the pillows. He’s also doing really well with his possesiveness of toys and food. He seems to have built up some trust with me and he will “leave it” and “drop it”. He comes on command now too, which is great, he used to just run around in circles and run from me. It seemed like he always thought he was in trouble and was scared to come. He will go in his crate on command too, which is great because he used to hate his crate, I think from being in boarding/shelters for so long. He’s totally house trained and goes to the door to go out, but does have accidents in his crate sometimes, though he’s gone almost 2 weeks now with no accidents. He’s a really sweet, affectionate, and playful goofball.
