Happy Gotcha Day Lucy
Lucy has a special story. She is a survivor from the tornado in Tuscaloosa, AL. After surviving the tornado and loosing everything she has been helped by a few people who have asked us to find her a new home. For the past few months her life has not been so much fun as her owner was very busy trying to get his life back together. Well she is finally with us, having a blast in a foster home with a huge yard (she needs to run a few pounds off) and another dog to play with. She is a super dog. She knows sit, down, shake and she LOVES belly rubs. She is 2 years old and, as you can see, very goofy. She smiles and wags her tail a lot. She is truly a great dog who is ready for a new start in life. No tornados please!
Lucy will do well with the right dog. She is happy in her foster home playing with her foster sister:
We have been approved for adoption and would love to meet Lucy! We have been to several Saturday Adoption Meetups. What is our next step in adopting Lucy?
Karen, Lucy has been adopted already. We have other wonderful dogs and more coming. Sorry she went so quickly. Elena
Is Lucy available again? Did her adoption not “take”? Was it not a good match?
I’m hoping she’s still with her new family, but I’m surprised to see her here again.
Lucy adoption did not work out. She is doing great with her foster and her foster brother but for some reasons she was picking on the family’s older dog so they returned her. She is doing great in foster but clearly we learned she is picky about the other dogs in the household. No worries, the right home will come around.
Is Lucy a purebred? She’s very pretty! Where is she located?
She is not purebred. All of our dogs are located in Atlanta, GA.
Is Lucy still up for adoption?
Lucy is still available and is not purebred.
Good morning. My husband and I lost our Mollie to pancreatitis in May. She was 14 years old. We are ready for another dog and Lucy looks just like Mollie. Is Lucy still available? We live in Albany, GA. Is Lucy in GA? Please let me know. If Lucy is still up for adoption and is within driving distance, we would love to meet her. thanks.
