Meet LUKE. Luke is a 2 year old, 57 lbs boy. Very sweet and great with other dogs, but does not like cats. He was rescued from a shelter in TN. Stay tuned while we find out more about him. If you would like to adopt Luke please fill out the form here. Luke is great with people, kids, dogs and he is a big snuggler. It does not get much better than Luke!
Foster Update: Luke is a sweet, energetic, yellow lab who loves to run & play! He loves his foster brothers – King and Gunner. Luke does great on a leash, is housetrained, loves his crate at bedtime and is a fan of bones and playing fetch with a tennis ball. Luke deserves a forever family that will provide lots of attention and love for him! He has been bounced around for several months and wants a place he can call home. However he is not a big fan of cats. Please come out and meet this beautiful boy on Saturday- he is a true blessing and our family is honored to foster him!
UPDATE FROM FOSTER MOM: Luke has settled into our home and is such a joy! This sweet boy loves to snuggle, chew on his bones, play with his toys and his 4 legged new friends (King & Gunner). Luke is great with kids- we had a house full during the recent snow days! As a bonus, he is house trained, walks in a leash, sleeps all night in his warm crate and knows all basic commands. He would make a great family dog and wonderful companion. Luke deserves a forever home (with no cats) as he is truly an ANGEL!
I can’t come to adoption day this Saturday but would it be possible to make an appointment to meet Luke and have him meet my dog? I’ve already been approved.
HI Sharon, I know he will be at the event, but I don’t know if we can get anything scheduled for tomorrow. Let me check and get back to you. 🙂

Hi….I met Luke with Jeff on this Saturday. I would very
much like to adopt. In the approval process…I should
have heartwarming prevention on Tye this coming Wednesday
And then Mandy says I will have approval.
Please be sure I am on the list…thank you.

Elena,
In reviewing the emails, Mandy informed me on Tuesday, March 17 that I need to have Tye tested and on prevention. The very same day I replied that Tye would be tested on Thursday. On Friday morning I emailed her a copy of the receipt from the testing done on Thursday, as promised. I told
her the results would be completed on Wenesday…today. She said to be sure to send her the results and a receipt for medications, and I would have the approval same day.
In thinking what you might of been told by my vet last week, he quoted $79 for the test last Tuesday, which I declined. I had checked with Vetco which only wanted $29. Banfield wanted $50 for office visit and $29 for test. I asked them to match Petco…they wouldn’t so I declined and proceeded with Vetco.
Nothing that shows any lag what so ever, and certainly no “long lag”.
Jack
I also am very interested in Luke if he is still available!would love to meet him.
I was wondering if Luke is available still for adoption. We have a 8 month old female Lab named Addy and she needs a brother or sister to play with. Addy is current with all shots, heart worm, spayed, house trained and crate trained.
Besides filling out the application what else do we need to do? Also, do we have to fill out individual applications for each dog we may be interested in?
Thanks!
Luke has an appointment today, but please check back on his status tomorrow. 🙂
Thanks,
Christie
