Meet Maddox
Maddox is a 1-year-old Black Lab + Styrian Coarse-Haired Hound mix looking for a patient, loving home to help him grow in confidence. He’s dog-friendly (he did great around my dogs this morning!) and has a very sweet nature, though he can be timid when first meeting new people.
He’ll do best with a confident owner who can provide strong leadership and continue his basic training. Maddox is still learning about everyday things—stairs are new to him, and he’s not yet comfortable being indoors or in a kennel. Right now, he’s pretty scared and just needs someone willing to go slow and show him he’s safe.
With time, structure, and love, Maddox has so much potential to become an amazing, loyal companion
