Happy Gotcha Day Manning!

Meet MANNING! He is 4 months old and from the litter of puppies that just arrived from MS. Manny and his siblings were unfortunately turned into a shelter by their owner. They are all very scared and unsure right now. But already in a foster home where will slowly begin to trust people and know what it’s like to be loved. Stay tuned as we learn more about them.

FOSTER UPDATE: Manny is coming out of his shell, especially when it comes to my other dogs.  He runs with them, jumps on them and nips their ears.  He is a fairly calm puppy as when they all lie down, he will too.  He will sit quietly in our lap for a period of time until he gets bored.  We are working on walking on a leash.  It works a lot better when I have one of the other dog also and he follows them all around.  We are also working on housebreaking but he has only been here for 24 hours so the fact that he has gone outside 3 or 4 times is super encouraging.  H slept through his first night in his crate  after I covered it and played some soft music.  He has also met me happily at the door when in fact he was supposed to be in the crate so we have to make sure the top is well covered or he pops out.
