Meet Mona, she has had a hard past couple weeks. As an owner surrender, her entire life has been flipped upside down and all she has known is now gone.
Mona is a nervous little girl with strangers but her breakthrough time is very short. She is easily bribed with a treat followed by some pets. She walks well on a leash and has had some obedience training. Mona loves a good game of ball. She will fetch it or just throw it for herself. She is a very loving girl to her people. When coming in from playing she will rollover on her back repeatedly for a belly rub. When outside she loves to lay in the sun. Mona is fully housebroken and a very clean girl in her kennel.
Mona is currently working with our trainer. She displays common characteristics of a dog with minimal socialization. She does currently react to men and small kids. She also does not care for other dogs primarily with assertive personalities and would be most comfortable as the only dog in her forever home.
Mona is looking for an understanding family that can help show her that life isn’t so scary.
