Meet MOOSE. Moose is a 6 year old beautiful chocolate boy who just arrived. He was on his last day at the shelter and was saved just in time. He is very sweet, knows sit, and is extremely food motivated. Unfortunately, Moose is heartworm positive and will need treatment in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more information about handsome Moose!
FOSTER UPDATE: Moose really is a loving dog that should do well in most environments. He’s house-trained and good about letting you know when he needs to go out, is hungry, wants some activity or just needs a good cuddle or rub down. He has a lot to say and even more love to give. Despite his size, Moose tended more towards the submissive bent with our girls — especially our diva dog that let him know she didn’t appreciate his advances or his proximity to her food. Moose has perfected the lovable, goofy jock persona and will become a steadfast friend with his new family quite quickly.
How much does Moose weigh?
Kelly, let me find out. 🙂
Thanks,
Christie
Kelly, he is 60-70 pounds with a big block head! 🙂
Hi. Do we have an update on how Moose is doing in foster-Do we have any updated pictures of Mr. Moose? Good with Boys, Girls and Cats? How did he end up in a shelter?
Hi Jennifer!
Moose has just moved to a foster home tonight. The vet says he is a funny guy.
If you don’t already, please follow our Facebook page for great updates and photos.
We usually don’t know how they initially ended up in the shelter…we just try to get as many out as we can! 🙂
We should know more about him soon!
Christie
