Happy Gotcha Day Mr.T!
Meet MR. T!!! Mr. T is a sweet 3.5 year old boy who just spent the past 3 years of his life in a shelter.
UPDATE: After 3.5 years Mr T has a fence yard to run it and he is loving it. As you can see from the pictures, he is so happy he cannot stop smiling. When he smiles his ears stay backwards but when he is relaxed they fold forward. He is been happily running and zooming around the yard and the house since we arrived. Mr T is clearly more used to be outside than inside but in a few days I am sure he will figured out that inside if where comfy beds and food are. He is fine with my dog and I am sure they will play more as soon as he is done sniffing around. The pictures does not clearly show his size: Mr T is only 30 pounds so he is a great size for someone looking for a smaller dog. He is great in the crate and rides well. Mr T’s ideal house had a large fenced backyard. I think he will be equally happy alone and with another dog. It takes a certain type of temperament to be in a shelter for 3 years and still keep your spirit up and Mr T clearly has that temperament.

Is Mr. T good with children? Does he walk well on a leash? Constrained?
Thanks
Hi Penny!
His foster does not have children in the home, but let me check on her thoughts. 🙂
Thanks,
Christie
Penny, he was skittish at first, but is really getting comfortable now and settling in. He is a happy guy, eager to please, and doing well on the leash. 🙂
Thanks,
Christie
Hi everyone, I am Mr T foster. Mr T is getting very comfortable and he is super smart so he is learning fast. I had a friend with a toddler at the house and he was very good and gentle with him. I have not had him around screaming/ running kids but my guess is that he may be surprised and scared at first but then he will enjoy any kid that is interested in playing with him. His leash walking training is going great and he is already no pulling much. Honestly he is super smart and very trainable so he will learning anything very quickly. Elena
Will Mr. T be at the adoption event this Sat? We would love to meet him.
Penny
Yes he will be. I am not sure he will show well there as he still gets excited when in a non familiar place but he will be there and we will see how he does. At home he is now the perfect dog. Elena
Good evening,
We found Mr. T through Adriana Bebe, a friend who works as a foster for Atlanta Animal Project.
Mr. T melted our hearts and we want to adopt this handsome fellow.
We are a young, married couple with no kids. We live at a nice subdivision in Lawrenceville, and the house we own has a yard of approximately 2500 ft.²
We love to take walks and there are a lot of nice parks and trails nearby that we frequent.
Please let us know what we can do to see Mr. T as soon as possible, given the fact that there might be other people interested in this dog.
Regards,
José Garcia
