Meet Murphy
Murphy is a 1-year-old Black Lab + Styrian Coarse-Haired Hound mix looking for a patient, understanding home where he can continue to build confidence. He’s dog-friendly (he did great with my dogs this morning!) and has a very gentle, sweet nature—he just needs a little time to warm up to new people.
He’s still adjusting to everyday life. Things like stairs, being indoors, and relaxing in a kennel are all new experiences for him and can feel a bit overwhelming right now. Murphy would do best with a calm, confident owner who can offer consistency, guidance, and reassurance as he learns.
He may be shy at first, but he has so much love to give. With patience, structure, and a caring environment, Murphy has all the makings of a loyal and devoted companion
