Happy Gotcha Day Otis!
MEET OTIS!!! Otis is a super sweet and handsome 3-4 year old lab mix. We think he may be mixed with golden retriever because his fur is longer and feathers on his rear legs and tail. He currently weighs 56lbs but he needs to put some weigh on – he’s a little skinny right now. Otis was pulled from a Georgia shelter last week and since then he has been neutered, vaccinated, and is now settling into a foster home. He’s a little unsure and needs to gain confidence, but is becoming more comfortable each day. He loves other dogs and really thrives being around them. His furry foster siblings are teaching him the ropes about when it’s play time and when it’s time to relax. He’s beginning read their cues quite well! Otis is very gentle and does well with kids. He is housebroken and sleeps on a bed next to his foster mom’s bed at night with no wake ups! Otis will be a GREAT addition to any family that is willing to help him find his confidence and is looking for a sweet boy who just wants to love and be loved. Foster Update 08/02/17: Otis is such a sweetheart! Stella (formerly Midnight) has loved having his company for the week. He has been getting a lot of attention and plenty of walks. He has been very good in the house and doesn’t climb on the fruniture unless he decides to become a lap dog. Otherwise he is laying as close to the couch as he can get. He has a great energy level and is worn out after our morning and afternoon walk. He is very handsome and has a beautiful coat!
