Happy Gotcha Day Perry!
MEET PERRY!! This handsome boy just came to LFS. He’s about 4 years old. Perry is a shy boy who ended up at the shelter 2 months ago, and sadly no one came to claim him. Now Perry is getting a second chance with LFS. He is a sweet, gentle soul with the prettiest eyes. Perry appears to get along with other dogs, though it seems that he is not quite sure how to play. He walks well on the leash and appears to be kennel trained. He also rode quietly in the car on his transport from the shelter and was fantastic for a much needed bath and brush out. While he’s not quite sure what’s happening to him just yet, Perry is taking everything in stride. He would make a good companion for anyone looking for a calmer adult dog. Stay tuned as we get him settled in and learn more about Perry’s personality!
Update 08/01/2020: Perry is a sweet gentle soul who needs an owner that understands he will take time to warm up to new people and situations and can’t be pushed, but once you have his trust he will love you forever. For being a shy guy at first he is very confident with other dogs and loves them (sometimes a little too much) and needs to be Alpha. For this reason he needs to be the only dog in the house. His eyes always say what he is thinking and its the cutest thing ever.
