Meet Pooler a one year old male lab with lots of personality. He is very sweet and plays with anyone, human or furry, that comes along. Pooler is a high energy dog and he needs an active family that can keep him stimulated. He is in a foster home with other dogs and he loves to play with them. Pooler is very much the typical young lab and anyone who loves the breed will fall in love with him. He is also quite the handsome lab.
Hello,
I’d like to get more info on pooler. He looks like a perfect fit for what I am looking for in a dog. If you could give me more info on adoption, location and background on Pooler. We have another dog in the house so he would need to be pet friendly. I personally would be adopting him and I am a 22 year old single guy. I am very active and would possibly introduce him to duck hunting. We also have a fishing boat in savannah so pooler would spend a lot of time between the beach, the boat, the park and the couch haha. I am looking to adopt in the next few weeks. Thank you!
Nick the place to start is to submit an application. We are in the Atlanta are but we adopt out anywhere as long as you are willing to come and pick up the dog. What we know about the dog is usually on the website. Please email us at labfriendinfo@gmail.com if you have specific questions. Thank you, Elena
Pooler is in a home with lots of other dogs and he is very dog friendly. He loves to play.
Do you know if he is good with cats & kids?
Eric, let me find out for you. Thanks for your interest.
Christie
Hi Eric,
We think Pooler would be best with kids 10+ years old because of his size. He is a very active boy and doesn’t realize how big he is. 🙂 He does need to be exercised. Another dog to play with, walking, or catching the ball would be necessary for him. We are also afraid he may not do well with cats. If he got bored, he might decide to go after the cat for fun.
I hope this helps. If he does not sound like a good fit for your family, we always have new dogs coming in. 🙂
Thanks so much,
Christie
