Happy Gotcha Day Biscotti!

Meet Biscotti

Biscotti is a 2 year old male that was brought to a kill shelter as a stray. He had his freedom ride yesterday from the shelter and is understandably still very nervous. He seems to be more shut down than Barley. There’s no telling how long these sweet boys were off on their own. He did relax a bit once he was back in his kennel.

Biscotti will be getting neutered early next week along with having a minor surgery on his eyelid. His recovery should be quick and will not affect his quality of life moving forward. Then this sweet boy will be ready for his new home!

** Biscotti is looking for a foster or forever home**

Foster Update: Biscotti is crossing his toes, hoping he will find his forever family this weekend! Biscotti is a two year old, very good boy that would make a great addition to pretty much any home! Would do best with another dog . Has done well with all kids he has met House Trained  Crate Trained . Loves playing with his toys . Loves attention . When left out and unsupervised, Biscotti can default to some puppy behaviors and will start chewing. He is getting better with training and corrections from his foster family.

Foster update: Biscotti has been in a foster home for almost a week now and has made a lot of progress. When we picked him up at the vet’s office, he was really nervous and kept his tail tucked. Yet he was just as sweet and gentle as he could be from the moment he walked over to us. Once we got home, the tail started wagging and he opened up a bit. He immediately took to our other dogs and it’s clear having other furry buddies around puts him at ease. He has come out of his shell over the last several days and showed us how much he loves playing with toys. In fact, he loves them so much he sometimes has a hard time deciding on which one to play with. You can pretty much guarantee wherever he is in the house, he’s going to be surrounded by a sea of toys. He also enjoys chasing balls in the yard, but is still working on the bringing them back part. He has a goofy personality that is hard to resist and adores attention from humans. There have been no accidents in the house, so we think it’s pretty safe to say he is potty trained
Come say hello to sweet Biscotti at our adoption event on Saturday!
