Happy Gotcha Day Rocco!
Meet Rocco. He is very handsome (show level) and he knows it. He is around 5 years old. He is not high energy and he loves people. Rocco is also BIG, around 100 pounds. Rocco is a dominant dog, and given his size he is looking for an expert owner. He is very well trained, including being fully trained on the remote collar. He particularly dislike small dogs so he needs someone who can keep up with his training and that can read his body language to know when he sees a dog he does not like. This said, he is wonderful with people and with kids and will make the right family very happy. Rocco is currently back in training for a refresher and he will soon be looking for a foster or a permanent home. Whoever adopts (or fosters) him will be given one hour training on how to handle him and free occasional refreshers (in the Atlanta area). If you are looking for a loyal, stunning, big, protective lab, Rocco is your dog!
UPDATE: As you can see from the pictures, Rocco had entropion in his eyes. We operated him and he is now better. No more eye gunk.
We have a 8 month old Black Lab – 60 lbs. Female who has been spayed. She is in training now and we are looking for a good companion for her. We have a fenced in large yard, fantastic huge dog house for two with covered front porch. We live on Logan Martin Lake in Pell City, Al. Country setting large farms all around us. If he is still available and would be a good match just holler.

Joseph, he could. Rocco is picky about other dogs. His ideal home is one where he can be the only dog. He can maybe get along with a submissive female but we will have to test him and see. Elena
Rocco is a beautiful lab and I would love to adopt him. We are looking for a chocolate lab for a family dog. He would be the only dog at the household. Although I do have a year old daughter and a four year old little boy who is all boy, my only concern was how he done with childeren. Rocco is AMAZING with people and kids. He is big but he super sweet with people. He just does not like other dogs so he needs to be an only dog and he will never be able to go to dog parks and play with other dogs. But with people, he is a great dog. Rocco would be an amazing companion for someone who is fine with a dog that has to be the only dog. Elena
