Meet Shotgun

He just had his freedom ride. They estimate him to be around 1.5 years old. Thanks to foster dad Mark helping with transport.

Foster Adopt

Foster update 03/27: I’ve been in my foster home for about a week now and my foster mom says I’m the sweetest and silliest boy you’ll ever meet. I get along with everyone and will be on my back for belly rubs within seconds of meeting, and may even gently paw at you if you stop too quick to politely ask for more. I will also be in your lap the second you sit down because cuddles are my favorite. I love going for walks and playing fetch and my leg doesn’t seem to affect or bother me one bit. I love car rides and getting to tag along too. I’m fully house trained and crate trained. I’m already proving to be a quick learner with sitting while waiting for food and treats. I’m the goodest boy who just wants someone to love me and all my cuddles.

I love all of my friends at boarding and daycare but I’m longing for a couch to sleep on. I love going on adventures and meeting everyone! I love playing fetch and I also don’t mind living with cats!

You may have heard about my leg, but I promise it doesn’t slow me down! I can still adventure with the best of them. Due to my injury not being fixed, my one leg is just a bit shorter and I would benefit from some arthritis supplements at my young age of 2.

I’m a love bug who wants to please, but I do need some lessons on house manors and walking on the leash, but I’m a super fast learner! No accidents in my house or kennel ever!

Shotgun is about 2 years old and ready to find a forever couch to snuggle on!

Update: Mr Shotgun update With all that’s going on with him idk if you still need but he had a fun play day with Moe he’s such a love and not as crazy as his previous posts make him out to be. He’s very well behaved.

Update: Shotgun is very sweet! He is high energy so he definitely needs a yard to run around and play in. He is heartworm positive and receiving treatment and needs to be kept as calm as possible which isn’t happening much being in a boarding facility. Very rarely has accidents in his kennel. Seems to be good with other dogs.
